MEOWco 501(c)(3) is a cat rescue in Bakersfield, CA. The organization had a clinical division called Goodcat Veterinary Clinic. I was a senior leader from February 2021 to July 2021. During this time, I created a rebranding strategy in an effort to garner community support and partnership resources from fellow city and county organizations as well as cooperative partnership with fellow animal rescues. I was responsible for full-time management of networking, content creation, recruitment of volunteers and donors, and community workshops and fundraising events. My husband and I also created and ran the Trap-Neuter-Return/Adoption program for MEOWco that was a dire community need.
